Medway Council aimed to establish a state-of-the-art sports facility in Rainham to serve the local community with high-quality recreational and fitness amenities. A critical aspect of this project was the installation of a robust damper control system to ensure optimal airflow and safety within the facility.
BSB Engineering was tasked with providing and installing a sophisticated damper control system to manage 13 Motorised Fire Dampers (MFDs) in the facility.

The team successfully completed the installation earlier than anticipated. The installation process was executed efficiently, with the team ensuring that the damper control system met all operational and safety requirements.
The installation of BSB Engineering’s damper control system significantly enhanced the safety and efficiency of the facility’s HVAC system. The newly installed equipment ensures optimal airflow management, contributing to a comfortable and secure environment for all users of the sports centre.
