VC Series Volume Control Damper

The VC Series Volume Control Damper is designed primarily to balance airflows in ducted low to medium velocity H&V systems.

It can be used to perform manual or actuated control functions, where low closed blade leakage is not a requirement. Suitable for various duct installations.

Conforming to Classes A, B & C of Eurovent 2/2 Table 1, DW 144 2016 Edition, and BS EN 1751 Table C.2.

Product application

The VC Series Volume Control Damper is designed primarily to balance airflows in low to medium velocity H&V systems.

Available in various sizes, including rectangular, circular or flat oval models, with flanged or spigotted duct connections and are suitable for installation in both vertical and horizontal positions.

VC Series Volume Control Damper

The VC Series Volume Control Dampers are designed for duct installations to balance and regulate airflow within HVAC systems.

Conforming to Classes A, B & C of Eurovent 2/2 Table 1, DW 144 2016 Edition, and BS EN 1751 Table C.2.

Normal operating conditions should not exceed 1000Pa, where Classes A & B of DW 144 2016 apply.

Featuring a galvanised mild steel casing as standard, with options for stainless steel blades. Available in various sizes, including rectangular, circular or flat oval models, with flanged or spigotted duct connections and are suitable for installation in both vertical and horizontal positions.

Flanged rectangular models with 65mm deep mechanically fixed casings incorporate universal corner fixing slots.

Rectangular spigotted models with 85mm fully welded case, or circular spigotted models with 70mm fully welded cases available.

Sizes from 100mm to 1000mm rectangular and 100mm to 1000mm dia single section with multiple configurations available.

The robust 50mm wide roll formed and clinched blade design ensures smooth operation and low noise with steel linkage located out of the airflow and are available in galvanised or stainless steel (430 or 316) to suit application.

3 control options are available; hand control, extended spindle (motorisation by others) or motorised (state actuator voltage and model when ordering).
